About the Sieler Foundation

The Sieler Safe Haven Foundation was born from a moment that changed everything. In 2019, despite their demanding NFL schedule, Zach and Hannah Sieler welcomed a young man in a wheelchair to their hunting camp. When they realized traditional hunting wasn’t accessible for this child, they saw not only a limitation but also an opportunity to reimagine what outdoor experiences could look like for every young person.

That single encounter ignited a calling that had been growing in their hearts. Through their outfitters company, Zach and Hannah had witnessed firsthand how time in nature transforms people, building confidence, teaching respect for creation, and fostering deep connections to something greater than each of us. They knew these life-changing experiences shouldn’t be limited to those who could afford them or had easy access.

In 2022, they made their vision official by registering as a non-profit and began forging partnerships with organizations like the Seminole Tribe in Florida, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and the NFL Foundation. Their work with tribal South Florida youth was particularly meaningful, as they helped children experience preinhabited Florida land — places many had never experienced despite living so close by.

Today, the Sieler Safe Haven Foundation combines athletic training with outdoor education, creating field days and camps where young people don’t just learn skills — they discover who they’re meant to become. Zach and Hannah believe that an active life doesn’t just sustain us; it shapes our character, builds our confidence, and connects us to God’s creation. Through hands-on experiences in nature, agriculture, and athletics, they’re nurturing a Christ-centered generation of confident, engaged young people who understand their role as stewards of both the land and their communities.

Team Members

Zach Sieler

Zach Sieler grew up in Pinckney, Michigan, where his father introduced him to hunting, fishing, and outdoor adventures on their 30-acre property. This early connection to the land shaped his passion for environmental stewardship. After attending Ferris State University, Zach was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens and later joined the Miami Dolphins, where he continues to play. Realizing his desire to share outdoor knowledge with young people, he co-founded the Sieler Safe Haven Foundation with his wife Hannah.

Hannah Sieler

Hannah Sieler, originally from Ozark, Missouri, became The University of Alabama’s No. 8 all-time scorer with 1,468 career points before playing professional basketball overseas in Greece and Iceland. An athlete through and through, she met Zach while he played for the Baltimore Ravens. Hannah had limited experience camping in tents with her family. She loved every opportunity she got and was active, playing basketball every day outside. Her unique perspective — understanding what youth miss without outdoor exposure — drives her commitment to providing transformative experiences through the foundation.

Tyler Fox

Tyler Fox manages SSHF’s home property and guides youth hunts. A 15-year high school agriculture teacher from eastern Christian County, Missouri, Tyler builds students’ knowledge and leadership skills while raising beef cattle with his wife, Hannah, on their farm. His passion centers on teaching kids land stewardship principles and helping them experience the positive impact of responsible wildlife management.

Justin Fann

Justin Fann, from Ozark, Missouri, manages habitat, wildlife, and property upkeep for SSHF while mentoring youth hunting experiences. A lifelong hunter and outdoorsman, Justin focuses on creating lasting memories for kids through outdoor experiences, teaching essential skills while fostering their connection to nature and wildlife conservation.

Land and Legacy partnership

The Sieler Foundation teams up with the Land Legacy Partnership to create an outdoor plan for managing wildlife on our land. Together, we use techniques like controlled burns, timber improvements, and natural farming methods to keep the land healthy and thriving.

Our Mission

The Sieler Safe Haven Foundation connects people with God through an active outdoor lifestyle that shapes hearts, builds character, and draws them closer to Him. Empowered by faith, we serve and uplift individuals, families, and communities through Christ-centered outdoor experiences.
